Sodium Hyaluronate is a naturally occurring lubricant that retains moisture on the eye surface, helping to keep the eyes hydrated, protected, and comfortable. It forms a protective film over the cornea, reducing friction and supporting healing of the ocular surface.

Uses

These eye drops are commonly used for:

• Dry eye syndrome
• Burning sensation in the eyes
• Eye irritation due to:
  • Prolonged screen use
  • Air-conditioned environments
  • Dust, wind, and sunlight exposure
• Post-cataract surgery dryness
• Post-LASIK dryness and discomfort
• Foreign body sensation (gritty or sandy feeling)
• Eye strain and fatigue
• Corneal surface discomfort and irritation

They act as artificial tears and help lubricate, hydrate, and protect the eye surface.

Usual Dosage

Typical dosage is:

• 1–2 drops in the affected eye(s)
• 3–4 times daily or as directed by an eye care professional

Frequency may be increased if required, based on the severity of dryness and your doctor's recommendation.

How to Use

1. Wash your hands thoroughly.
2. Tilt your head back.
3. Gently pull down the lower eyelid.
4. Instill 1 drop into the eye without touching the bottle tip to the eye or surrounding surfaces.
5. Close your eyes gently for 1–2 minutes.
6. If using other eye medications, wait at least 5–10 minutes between applications.

Possible Side Effects

Usually mild and temporary:

• Watery eyes

Consult an eye doctor if you experience:

• Severe eye pain

Important Tips

• Avoid touching the bottle tip to any surface.
• Keep the bottle tightly closed after use.
• Discard the bottle approximately 30 days after opening.
