Composition:
Dexamethasone Sodium Phosphate Ophthalmic Solution USP

Indication:
✔ Relief of eye inflammation and redness caused by allergies. ✔ Helps reduce swelling, irritation, and discomfort in inflammatory eye conditions such as conjunctivitis, iritis, and keratitis. ✔ Used after eye injury, chemical exposure, or ocular surgery to control inflammation and promote comfort. ✔ Helps manage steroid-responsive inflammatory conditions of the cornea and conjunctiva.

Uses

RGDEXA™ Eye Drops are commonly used for:

✔ Allergic conjunctivitis (eye allergies)

✔ Eye redness and inflammation

✔ Swelling of the eye tissues

✔ Post-operative eye inflammation

✔ Non-infectious inflammatory eye conditions

✔ Irritation, discomfort, and sensitivity caused by inflammation

✔ Uveitis and other steroid-responsive eye disorders (as prescribed by an eye specialist)

Usual Dosage

Typical dosage is:

1–2 drops in the affected eye(s)

2–4 times daily or as directed by the ophthalmologist

The dosage and duration depend on the severity of the condition. Always follow your doctor's instructions.

How to Use

1. Wash your hands thoroughly.
2. Tilt your head back.
3. Pull the lower eyelid down gently.
4. Instill the prescribed number of drops without touching the bottle tip to the eye.
5. Close your eyes gently for 1–2 minutes.
6. If using other eye medications, wait at least 5–10 minutes before applying the next product.

Possible Side Effects

Usually mild and temporary:

✔ Mild burning or stinging sensation

✔ Temporary blurred vision

✔ Eye irritation

✔ Increased tearing

✔ Eye discomfort

Consult an eye doctor immediately if you experience:

✔ Severe eye pain

✔ Persistent redness or irritation

✔ Vision changes

✔ Swelling around the eyes

✔ Signs of eye infection

Important Tips

✔ Use only as prescribed by an ophthalmologist.

✔ Do not touch the dropper tip to any surface.

✔ Remove contact lenses before use unless advised otherwise.

✔ Long-term use may increase the risk of glaucoma, cataracts, or eye infections.

✔ Do not discontinue treatment abruptly without medical advice.

✔ Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

✔ Keep out of reach of children.
