Tobramycin Ophthalmic Solution USP 0.3% w/v

Indication:
TOBAFILL™ Eye Drops are used to treat bacterial infections of the eye. They help eliminate infection-causing bacteria and provide relief from symptoms such as redness, irritation, discharge, and swelling. Tobramycin can be used in both adults and children for the treatment of susceptible bacterial eye infections.

About Tobramycin

Tobramycin is an antibiotic that belongs to the aminoglycoside group. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria responsible for eye infections.

Uses

These eye drops are commonly used for:

✔ Bacterial conjunctivitis (pink eye)

✔ Eyelid infections (blepharitis)

✔ Corneal infections caused by susceptible bacteria

✔ Redness, irritation, and discharge due to bacterial infection

✔ Prevention and treatment of bacterial infections after certain eye procedures (as advised by a doctor)

Usual Dosage

Typical dosage is:

Mild to Moderate Infection

• 1–2 drops in the affected eye(s)
• Every 4 hours or as directed by a doctor

Severe Infection

• 2 drops every hour initially
• Frequency may be reduced as the infection improves

Always follow your eye specialist's instructions.

How to Use

1. Wash your hands thoroughly.
2. Tilt your head back.
3. Gently pull down the lower eyelid.
4. Instill 1 drop without touching the bottle tip to the eye.
5. Close your eyes gently for 1–2 minutes.
6. If using another eye medication, wait 5–10 minutes before applying it.

Usually mild and temporary:
